Born in Rome in 2006, Chiara has always been passionate about classical music.
She began playing the piano at the age of 7 in the class of François Creux in Geneva. A few years later, she entered the intensive program at the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique and then devoted herself with dedication to the practice of the piano. In 2019, she participated in the finals of the Steinway competition and the Swiss Youth Music Competition, where she obtained a first prize in the solo and four-hands categories. She then continued her piano training while performing regularly in recitals as a soloist or with different orchestras at the Victoria Hall, notably with the conservatory teachers’ orchestra or the AMAA orchestra, thus having the opportunity to perform several piano concertos.
At 14 years old, in 2021, she entered the Pre College program (formerly pre-professional) of the CEGM music schools in the class of Federica Stellini. Since then, Chiara has regularly been a laureate of national and international competitions, notably the Riviera competition in Switzerland, where she won the first absolute prize in 2022, as well as the “città d’Albenga” and “Rospigliosi” competitions in Italy, where she obtained second prizes in 2023. In 2025, she won the third prize at the international piano competition in Kronberg, as well as the first prize with distinction at the Swiss competition (SJMW).
Currently a first-year Bachelor student at the Musikakademie Basel in the class of Maestro Filippo Gamba, she aims in a few years to undertake a soloist master’s degree. Also a student at the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale di Pinerolo in Italy in the classes of Maestri Enrico Stellini and Pietro De Maria, she performs a very broad repertoire, both as a soloist and with various chamber music formations ranging from baroque to contemporary, including classical and romantic music. Having obtained her Maturity diploma at Collège Calvin in Geneva in 2025, also being a violinist in the class of Rada Hadjikostova-Schleuter and gradually gaining experience in the field of orchestra conducting, notably through her final thesis work, she dedicates herself passionately to her musical studies, wishing to make classical music accessible to everyone, particularly to young people.
She is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2022.
