Angelica Ceria, born in Turin in 2002, began studying the violin at the age of 11 while attending lower secondary school. She graduated from the Music High School at Liceo Cavour in Turin under the guidance of Professor Marco Chiavazza. She subsequently earned her Bachelor’s Degree with maximum degree mark of 110/110 from the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Turin, where she is currently completing her Master’s Degrees in Violin under Maestro Sergio Lamberto and in Viola under Maestro Giovanni Petrella.
She furthered her violin studies with Maestro Sergey Galaktionov and Maestro Giacomo Agazzini and attended numerous masterclasses with distinguished violinists including Dejan Bogdanovic, Francesco Manara, Daniel Llewellyn Roberts, Yulia Berinskaya, and Ilya Grubert, as well as violists such as Ula Ulijona and Simone Briatore.
She studied string quartet and chamber music with Professors Claudia Ravetto, Manuel Zigante, Antonio Valentino, and Carlo Bertola, and participated in specialized masterclasses with Christophe Coin, Christophe Giovaninetti, Enrico Carraro, Daniel L. Roberts, and Francesco Dillon.
She has performed in numerous Baroque music concerts with string orchestras and chamber ensembles, serving as orchestral musician, soloist, and concertmaster with the Orchestra d’Archi Giovanile di Santa Pelagia, the Orchestra Giovanile Barocca dell’Accademia di Sant’Uberto in Venaria Reale, and Archiensemble.
In 2021 and 2023, she was featured in the concert season of Unione Musicale, performing both in a piano trio and in a string quartet.
In 2025 and 2026, she participated in the fifth edition of the Buxus Consort Festival with the Buxus Consort Strings Orchestra and the former Quartetto Ipazia, now known as Quartetto Ume (selected through audition), performing a repertoire ranging from Classical and Romantic works to contemporary compositions, including music by Ezio Bosso.
She participated in MITO SettembreMusica 2025 and collaborated as both violinist and violist with the Viotti Festival and the Società dei Concerti di Milano. She has performed with Camerata Ducale, the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino (OFT), in educational projects at Scuola Holden in Turin alongside composer Nicola Campogrande, in the Serate Musicali of the Turin Conservatory, as a viola soloist, in string quartet and other chamber ensembles, and with numerous other musical organizations.
She currently performs as a violist with Quartetto Ume and the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino (OFT).
Throughout her musical career, she has collaborated with conductors and artists including Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Anna Tifu, Relja Lukic, Francesco Manara, Hans Christian Aavik, Romeo Scaccia, Mario Marzi, Gabriele Carcano, Ula Ulijona, Giampaolo Pretto, Gianni Denitto, Guido Rimonda, Marco Lamberti, Erica Piccotti, and Trio Concept.
She plays a Gaetano Dionelli violin (Mantua, 1850), generously provided through a private loan.
She has been student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2026.
